  • In 1999, I joined the two person team that would spearhead the redesign Florida International University(F.I.U.)'s 10 year old web site. During the discovery period, with the help of our team, I conducted a user experience study to gather information about the needs of the site’s most important users, the students.  I also interviewed the stakeholders to address their needs and visions for the site, while helping them grasp the principle that a user centric site would help them reach their objectives while making their site more effective.   Based on the collected data, I created personas, the Information Architecture, wireframes, and set the style guidelines for the newly redesigned F.I.U. site.

The goal of the site was to make this site easy to use so that our prospective students can see what the university has to offer. Also, be user friendly for our current students, alumni, and staff.
